Sarah Palin has played the sexism card, accusing critics of chauvinism against a strong woman.
She has played the class card, dismissing the Bush family as blue bloods, and complaining that she is the target of snobbery by people who dislike her simply because she is not so hoity-toity.
Most famously, she has played the victim cardnever more vividly than when she invoked the loaded phrase blood libel against liberals and media commentators in the wake of the Gabrielle Giffords shooting.

The only commonality is Politico’s equal disdain for Al Sharpton’s people and Sarah Palin’s people which is to say that they disdain all people who are not members of that little psuedo-intellectual elite in a far-distant capitol that think they can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves.

Boy they just can’t shuttup about her
they must fear her more than any other GOP
for that reason alone I would vote for her, even though I already know she has bigger ball than any of the other GOP crop of ‘candidates’
Mitt- go put on a dress- Palin will mop the floor with you in the debates and you are going to look like a fool hitting a woman

Exactly.
Gov. Palin is bombarded by the
Obama/DNC/Soros/Romney/Rove/Krauthammer/Frum/Parker axis.

My only question is... are they deluded, or are they attempting to delude Republicans? The tactic is to tell a lie enough times so that it becomes the truth in the weak minded. So can see it happening right on this forum sometimes. Sad.

I'm way down on the list here, but I'm glad to see this post...for finally the leftists have brought this to a logical conclusion.
1. By this article they are finally admitting that Al Sharpton is no more than a poverty pimp and a race monger; 2. When they get to this point to slam Palin, they are running pretty low on ammunition.
The bottom line is, this isn't going to work either...trying to compare apples and oranges never works, and taking a remark made my Palin and equating that to DECADES of race pimping my Sharpton, is silly, and desperate.

Does the Politico know anything at all about Sharpton? I mean seriously. -----------------------------------------

This is all anyone needs to know about the good Reverend.

I think the thing that most irritates the Palin-bashers is her habit of defending herself after being attacked. The fact that someone like Labash would compare her to a scoundrel like Al Sharpton says more about Labash than Palin.

RE “

How about the alternative? Suppose she doesnt run, or she runs and loses? What will those that said she will run AND win say?

If she doens’t run. They win.
If she runs and doesn’t win. They win.
If she runs and isn’t successful. They win.
If she runs and is successful. They were always with her, but critical.
So the pundits win 80% of the time. Not a bad gig if you can get it.
