There may have been an intended note of irony, but the remark was insensitive, without any apparent knowledge of this case, and seemed flippant, imho. Not everything is deserving of a tongue in cheek remark.

Boy, some people are just too damn sensitive about a little sarcasm being thrown about. I was merely throwing around a little joke but a couple of you have no sense of humor.
Let me explain something. I know most of the problems this baby and his parents are having. I am not surprised that Canada is dragging their feet in transferring records to the American hospital. I left Canada when I was 20 when the U.S. Army asked me to stay when I was cross training from the Canadian Army. I jumped on the opportunity especially when citizenship was also offered. I'm a duel citizen now. My folks and family are still in Canada and I wouldn't even think twice about not going back. In my honest opinion, America is far better a place to live than Canada, even though Obama the Zero is president. Socialism is not for me.
As far as the part about crossing illegally for free medical care, the damn worthless Mexicans are doing it, so why couldn't three Canadians.
Usually I would apologize for making a crude joke, but this time I say HELL NO!!! If someone can't take a joke, you should go to a liberal site where they don't even know the definition of the word humor.
By the way, I hate American Idol. Only brain dead people watch that crap. Hey trisham, one, read my tagline and two, have a nice day, if you are able.
