Yes, it helps to understand how we humans are not innocent in so many things. But the pride of man is so hardened these days! I said I am praying for them and that innocents are in heaven, so what the heck is so hard about that? Jeeeze....

I apologize if I sounded harsh or too accusatory.

I think that nothing but compassion is warranted right now.

Here’s a good website, if you haven’t heard about it:

http://www.breakingnews.com/

“Japanese spokesman says no marked change in radiation level after reactor blast; control room remains intact - Kyodo

snip

tsunami warning for Japan’s NE coast is canceled - news.com.au”

Thank you so much for coming on this thread and instructing all of us on the ways of God. I'm sorry that the other posters have been so hard-hearted to you. I'm sure if they could understandd that you weren't being an ass, but you were just showing us how God judges the world (and the Japanese obviously), they wouldn't have been so quick to dismiss your posts as pure rubbish.

Thank you again.

You are welcome...I was simply expressing what I see. If you need to see me as an ass, ok...think it is quite closed minded of you though. You may want to go to fhu.com and check out the freedom of the Be still exercise. It is wonderful and will put you on the path of real patience, which you are in need of!

If your worldview is the result of fhu.com and the Be Still exercises, then I must decline your invitation.

I don't want to take the risk of ending up like you. LOL!

But don't worry. I understand the fault lies with me. After all, you've been kind enough to point out some of my more egregious failings.

Have a nice day!

Fox tends to be bad on weekends and on breaking news stories, especially int’l. It is always so. CNN does stories like this better, IMO (until they start getting political in their coverage).

They were plenty of horrible disasters that hit the US when we were more religious as a people.

Firstly, for a supposed Christian you are being incredibly quick to condemn the Japanese en masse for a natural disaster that’s *still ongoing*... because you don’t like how a reporter sounds?!?

To be frank, you should be utterly ashamed of yourself.

“Do you think the Church in the colonials days would have not drawn up arms massively against an income tax?”

What, like a 10% tithe?

No, I was simply commenting on the robotic and lack of empathy I heard in two reporters and was this an example of a lacking in many japanese people? I believe it was an open question. I was not and am not condemning those people and made it clear that I am praying for them. I made a comparison to the indonesian tsunami as that hit on Christmas day in an area that had a lot of childhood prostitution going on. So why am I so very wrong for believing that God had a hand in this, and yet writing that any innocents would be in heaven. Maybe you should be ashamed for misreading and repeating wrongly what I meant!

Yes, and the people back then acknowledged their sins and asked for forgiveness much more so back in the old days. Now it is like, oo, why did this happen?? Seems like there is very little clue as to the horrible sins that are going on daily in all nations. Horrible...murder and torture of innocent kids, rape and usage of people and kids for sex...all over!
