The EPA is responsible for a very significant portion of the price of fuel, and energy in general. Look at how many billions of dollars utilities have had to spend on coal-fired plants to meet EPA regulations. Ditto refineries, fuel blends, cars, and essentially anything else that uses or deals with energy.

The EPA is a major cost.

The low sulfur diesel sure is not cheaper than what it replaced. EPA did it.
