Sharia law is incompatible with American jurisprudence and our Constitution.”...

An excellent book that bears this out through historical record is ...

The author, Robert Reilly, meticulously traces the process through which, starting in the 9th Century, Islam discarded the Greek notions of rationality and reason, cause and effect, effectively divorcing faith from reason. It is this process and the consequences derived from it which has placed Islam and those who adhere to it in conflict with reality, and with those who chose a different path.

In a recent EWTN interview, Reilly explained that, unlike what many in the west believe, the Koran is not like the Bible. Rather, for Muslims, the Koran is an eternal document that existed with God - essentially, it is equivalent to our view of Jesus Christ - and that is why IT must be followed to the letter. Reason is not a legislator; hence there are no "legislatures" in Muslim countries. Honor killings follow Muslim morality, which has dropped reason.

Reilly summed up by saying that there is no word for conscience in Arabic. Islam is ideology masquerading as a religion.

Thanks for posting. I cannot read Islam-expose books/ I’d never sleep again. However, EWTN is great and I trust their speakers. I did read a quote from St. Augustine (was it?) last week re Islam — he had NOTHING good to say about it, even then — ‘a heresy,’ ‘appealing to man’s baser (sexual) desires.’
