The D.O.J. approved new scoring policy only requires potential police officers to get a 58% and a 63%. That's the equivalent of an ‘F’ and a ‘D’

When you consider that white candidates will be rejected with much higher scores until the fill their quotas of blacks, it becomes doubly repugnant. And 58 percent? That’s disgusting. Ohio civil service exams have always been a joke.
I sat for one for a municipal fire department once, scoring 97% without ever having been to fire school. They wanted to hire some of their buddies that were volunteers, but their scores were much, much lower. Their solution was to make the test scores only count for 33 percent of the overall, with the “interview” counting for 66 percent.
