...the technology of those nuke plants is actually working, the containment vessels have not been breached despite an earthquake and flood of Biblical proportions.. Containment has been breached. Workers are being treated for radiation sickness. The question is how much of a breach. The only way you can get a hydrogen explosion outside the vessel is if the vessel and its support mechanisms leaked the hydrogen after a partial meltdown.
