I wonder how much a shift like that in the poles affects our seasons. This would mean the equator shifted also and the angle of the sun hitting the earth, etc.

I wonder about that same thing. I wish Texas was a little farther north but we might be going the other way.

Not much. A shift of a few feet in the poles is like you suddenly experiencing the seasons of your next door neighbor, in a the-houses-are-a-bit-too-close subdivision.
