Building nukes on a fault line is a violation of common sense, not just green crap.

But now they’ll fight them tooth and nail even in Kansas or Nebraska, anywhere, regardless of geology

Things could get interesting in eastern Tennessee where TVA restarted construction to complete Watts Bar Nuclear Plant unit #2 a year or two ago. The unit was mothballed back in the 80’s or early 90’s after the mass hysteria caused by the Three Mile Island event effectively shut down the US’ nuclear construction program.

Anyway, they’re well on their way to completing the project but I suspect a throng of brain-dead tree huggers will be converging on eastern TN soon. I think they deserve a good old fashioned Appalachian welcome.
