You've got an excellent point here. But Obozo is no Reagan. Hillary is no George Schultz. Not even close.
Given the nasty choice between (a)letting the whack job Qaddafi gradually reassert control of Libya and (b)getting sucked into a Libyan civil war, the former is clearly the lesser of two evils.

Gen. Wesley Clark was one of the most despised officers in the US Army by his own men. He was viewed as very liberal career ladder climber who would use the them below him to advance his own career.

We had a vital interest to stand with our NATO allies then but not now? And if our NATO allies did something then maybe I'd consider joining. But right now they seem content to sit back and let us do it. Again.
