Showing no discernible limit to their insensitivity, and seemingly eager to puff out their chests in the wake of their recent Supreme Court victory, the Westboro Baptist Church issued a press release stating they plan to protest at the funeral of the seven Clouse children killed in a tragic fire in Perry County this week. The release is full of bluster over their Supreme Court victory and claims the fire was a result of God's wrath for Pennsylvania. After all, isn't that where the man who sued them for protesting his son's funeral and inititiated a landmark free speech case resides? The release is replete with misinformation about the circumstances of the fire, claiming Mr.Clouse was asleep in his truck during the fire.

If I only had a terminal desease.
This country has gone to shit.
Not new territory for the Westboro Psychotics. They also protested at the funeral of the 9-year-old girl murdered in the Tuscon shooting.
Thank you, SCOTUS.
What is with these people? We need to go union on their @sses and let them know how it feels be protested - day at night, at their homes, etc., and when something happens to one of them, we should a festival at their funerals.
Right now I'm watching the documentary Fall from Grace, which is probably the only exception I've made to exposing myself to more of WBC's idiocy.
The filmmaker does a really good job of exposing the roots for their psychoses, IMO.
There is a special place in hell ...
No, they did not. They were going to, but changed their minds after they had gotten threats
Especially for these creeps
Ah, good. Shows that they can be convinced. ...with the right argument.
What goes around, comes around.
PS - maybe someone’s free speech will trump their free speech. Just saying.
Who’s going to protest at Fred Phelps’ funeral?
Vigilante justice is the logical result when our courts refuse to recognize common-sense standards of decency. We’ve seen it repeatedly in the case of abortion, we see it increasingly as the homosexual rights movement ratchets up its demands, and we will probably see it here too before long.
A previous westboro CULT demonstration ended thus ... and it’s worth repeating.
Someone slashed the tires on the van used by the Cult, and every shop in town refused to serve them, once they found out who they were...
either that, or take the bitches up on their challenge, and meet them with baseball bats.
You know, I was thinking that just the other day. Fred Phelps is going to have the worlds largest protest at his funeral.
Isn’t a baseball bat to the knees also free speech?
