Come on now: Lets take a breath and put this NPR fracas into perspective.
Just as public radio struggles against yet another assault from its long-time nemesis -- the right-wing machine that would thrill if our sole sources of information were Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and ads paid for by the Koch Brothers -- it walks into a trap perpetrated by one of the sleaziest operatives ever to climb out of a sewer.
It’s too bad they never honestly ask themselves two questions:
1) Why do republicans hate us so much?
2) If we have such a quality product, why is it so hard to get our listeners to pay for it?
Why do they hate Republicans and love the murdering moslem brotherhood?
So our policy now is to confront these kinds of attacks, which we did last weekend when “Factor” producer Jesse Watters caught up with Moyers in New York City:
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
WATTERS: Why are you attacking Bill, now?
MOYERS: I’m not attacking Bill.
WATTERS: Well, didn’t you give an interview where you said he was part of a slime machine and trying to discredit other journalists?
MOYERS: I didn’t say that.
WATTERS: Yes, you did. You said that’s to Rolling Stone.
MOYERS: No, I didn’t say that.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
To echo Jesse, yes, you did, Bill. Roll the tape.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
MOYERS: The FOX News, the talk radio, The Weekly Standard have not only mongered for war along with the administration, not only embraced the administration’s policies because they were “conservative”, including going to war, but also mounted a slime machine to discredit any journalist who dared to stand against the official view of reality.
I do know that Moyers has, for years, been heavily involved with people like George Soros and the far left. Yet PBS is paying him to produce documentaries that are purported to be “objective.” Bill Moyers is not objective, has a problem with the truth, and should no longer be receiving taxpayer money. And that is the truth.
Bill Moyers talks with one of the world's most successful investors George Soros about the global capital meltdown, how he saw it coming, and what can be done now.
*******
The panel, the Cour de Cassation, upheld the conviction of Soros, 75, an American citizen, for buying and selling Société Générale shares in 1988 after receiving information about a planned corporate raid on the bank.
Soros, a Hungarian-born businessman, has acknowledged that he was told about a Paris financier's plans to take over Société Générale in late 1988 and began acquiring shares in the bank just days later.
He remains the only person convicted in the Société Générale affair
Follow the money, network on LBJ coatholder, bootlick Bill “Sanctimonious” Moyers...

I read somewhere that Moyers makes $6 million/yr. Maybe he can pony up for the leftist crap he peddles on PBS and NPR.
“Waaaah! E-heh e-heh e=heh! They said bad things about us! And and and they’re mean evil liars! Waaaaah, waaaaah, waaaah, and and and they’re NOT fair and balanced like we are. And and and they tried to SHUT US DOWN by taking away our fffffundddinng!!2!11!!1@! Waaaah, just because we can’t make it in a free-market system without massive government support doesn’t mean we aren’t FAAABulous!”
