I am a bit of a volcano buff as I am working on a novel about the 1902 Pelee eruption in Martinique that killed 35 to 40 thousand people. Several years ago I was looking at one of the volcano monitoring sites, for Alaska. They had, and I presume they still have, 24 hour seismic charts. It was interesting to see that after one strong earthquake you could see a spike in the seismograph traces, especially strong for the volcanoes nearest to the earthquake area. I don’t have time to look for this now, as I am expected at work, but perhaps someone can find it and post the link, I would not be surprised if we had a very severe volcano eruption soon, especially around our next full moon.
Here is a link on Hawaii tsunami effects:
I have also pinged some of you I have met at the Libya posts. The link I just posted also has a link to Libya, I think the situation at Ras Lanuf. I have an interest in disaster situations in general, but if you are not interested in this let me know by private mail and I will not ping you on earthquakes or volcanoes.
There is a black hole of news coming out of Hawaii, just a lot of nothing, I fear the internet and the MSM is under a censor, all to protect the tourism image.
Thank you gleeaikin.
I googled 24 hour seismic and here is what I found.

Didn’t see any activity today from Rissia.
Prayers for Japan.

A security guard where I used to work was from Monserrat, and used to refer to the earlier (1843) eruption of Guadeloupe, which is nearby. The stories of that 19th c eruption were still talked about.
