To: PA Engineer

How long can the adjacent tanks withstand the heat of another burning? I’m assuming it’s some time - but with a quake this large, the FD has got its hands full so the refinery/chem plant guys might be trying to deal with this themselves...

I don't think anyone can get anywhere near it even with protective clothes. I would image that even at a couple hundred yards you would risk severe radiant burns. I honestly don't know how they would put it out or if they will just let it flair off.
