No disrepect to your beliefs intended, but God does not cause earthquakes, IMO. He is, however, very interested in how we treat each other in the wake of catastrophe.

however, I think you might need to reread the Old Testament and some of Revelation.
At some point, I don’t know that it matters if God overtly and actively sends a quake or pulls back His protection and allows satan to send a quake.
It is clear from Scripture that God warned several times that a quake was coming as part of HIS JUDGMENT on a people.
He has so warned about such in these END TIMES. One quake is scheduled to be devastating over the whole planet.
Every mountain and island will be moved out of its place.
I wonder where that will be placed on the Richter scale.

VS MAN CAUSED by hyper exotic weapons systems.
I don’t know the validity of the below—though I’m inclined somewhat to believe it given some of the sources . . .
and . . . just before a number of recent devastating quakes including CHRISTCHURCH . . . there have been very unusual visual/light effects recorded in the skies and sometimes even on radar.
