Let political correctness in the military finally die a quick and agonizing death. Thank God .. at least some accountability to those who saw and heard the demon's rantings and put saving face or weakness above preventing mayhem and the massacre of our precious troops (and one baby in the womb).

The leadership failure began and continues at the White House.

No one spoke up because they would have been accused of bias against a mooslim. Political correctness is a cancer in our country.

The military is pursuing scapegoats. This definitely a ‘top down’ problem, not a ‘bottom up’ one. They need to scour the Pentagon of all Islamicists.

Good. I was afraid this would get swept under the carpet.
With nine being punished I assume the writers of those bogus efficiency reports will face some consequences.

I’m not happy to see that General George Casey is not at the top of that list.

Most of the military personnel who failed to report on crazy ol'Doc Ignatz were his fellow officers at Walter Reid.
The Washington Post is also guilty in this one. They had many reporters on the scene while Hassan was there and the "posties" didn't report anything amiss with this guy who worked right there in the middle of the Psychiatric Outpatient Center where they were.
The "posties" found some bad paint and plaster though, so we must presume they discovered the mad dog killer wandering about as a Major. Their notes would be interesting.
I won't be satisfied until we see some of the "posties" in prison ~ they are probably complicit in Hassan's hate filled journey ~ might have even agreed with him.

Oh, goodie, the Army has found the criminals responsible for political correctness gripping the nation!

Exactly. If the hateful left really believed in a “woman’s right to choose”, they would at least agree that children are human in the womb if the Mother “chooses” them to be so.
The way the extreme leftist law is now allows “boyfriend punch abortions”, which are not uncommon.

Any punishment for this needs to start at the White House and go down through the Pentagon, and punish those who have occupied the top positions for at least a couple of decades and ushered the insidious and perverse sickness of political PCness into the decision making of the armed forces and other areas of the federal government.

"The Army announced Thursday it will punish nine officers in connection with the Fort Hood shootings for "leadership failures relating to the career of Maj. Hasan."
WTF... its damn if you do, and damn if you don't!

Will these nine officers be tried and convicted before Hasan?
Yes, it’s deplorable - that level of corruption that allowed Hasan to move - as a muslim infiltrator - through the Army. And yes, heads should roll.
But FGS... start by swinging Hasan by a noose. Then move on.

These will be the sacrificial lambs. Of course, I’m sure they are complicit but you can bet the PC attitude went all the way to the top. That’s how to get promoted in today’s Army.

Punished if you do, punished if you don't, put at risk and not allowed to kill the enemy because of ridiculous rules of engement, sent all over the world with multiple tours, assured of substandard medical treatment for a whole host of psychological and physical problems, paid a poverty wage, hated by 1/3 of the country at all times, at risk of being horribly maimed or killed - even if at home or walking through an airport, in the event of your death may have your funeral picketed by people who mock your death, if you surivive you'll take your spot in the unemployment line...oh, and now the guy next to you in the fox hole thinks you're cute.
That anyone volunteers anymore is a miracle.
God Bless our military.
