Last night, after all other business of the day had been completed and people had gone home for the night, Senate Republicans rammed through a collective bargaining law that aims to dismantle public sector unions. We need to make it clear that this assault against democracy will not stand!
Scott Walker and Republicans in both houses of the legislature have ignored the voice of the vast majority of Wisconsinites who oppose this extremist agenda, and have eviscerated both the letter and the spirit of the law and our democratic process to ram through their payback to their deep-pocketed corporate friends. Please join us tonight and make a stand against their blatent power grab.
Most of these punks invading the Wisconsin Capitol are very reminiscent of the Bill Ayers-type thugs of the late 1960’s. Unwashed, unintelligent troublemakers.

Would that be the "vast majority" who overwhelmingly voted in Democrats in the last election? Everybody always says the majority is behind them, and it's hard to disprove, but in this case they have a recent election to prove them wrong.
I guess they didn't get the memo that the dims lost the elections in Nov 2010.
