Dear Obama, maybe you yourself “can’t change those facts”, but many of us are wondering if grandma and grandpa Dunham and your mother “played” around a little bit with the facts about where and when you were born.
So what do you think, Obama? Did grandma and grandpa and your mother play around-—maybe a little bit-—with the facts of your birth?
For instance, were you really born in a hospital in Hawaii as you claim?
You see, I’m sorry to say but many of us have our doubts about your birth hospital, and we won’t be sure that you were born in a Hawaii hospital until you allow Hawaii to release a copy of your long form birth certificate, the one that former high-ranking official, Fukino, claims she looked at, and the same long form birth certificate that the newly-elected governor of Hawaii seems to have difficulty finding recently.
If you’re playing political poker and you’re holding an ace in the hole, do you show it early? I don’t think so, John!
I know that no one who cares about my birth certificate would ever vote for me, so why should I appease my political enemies?
Why do you think that I had my buddy Governor Abercrombie call off his investigation for my long form and get with the program?
We love it when we can get Republicans to carry our water for us on this issue. Why just last week, we got Governor Sarah Palin to call the birther movement “distracting” and “annoying.” Thanks Governor Palin!
We prefer to let former Republican Governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle’s statement stand without any comment from us:
“You know, during the campaign of 2008, I was actually in the mainland campaigning for Sen. McCain. This issue kept coming up so much in the campaign, and again I think it’s one of those issues that is simply a distraction from the more critical issues that are facing the country. And so I had my health director, who is a physician by background, go personally view the birth certificate in the birth records of the Department of Health, and we issued a news release at that time saying that the president was, in fact, born at Kapi’olani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. And that’s just a fact. And yet people continue to call up and e-mail and want to make it an issue. And I think it’s, again, a horrible distraction for the country by those people who continue this. ... It’s been established. He was born here.”
Very truly yours,
Barack Hussein Obama II
President of the United States

Dear Obama:
I can't wait to see what legal, OFFICIAL Hawaii document you attach to your presidential application forms when the presidential primary season begins.
If you attach a copy of your Hawaii short form birth certificate to your application, I can't wait to see if it is an exact copy of the short form birth certificate you displayed on your website during the previous presidential campaign.
However, if the Hawaii short form birth certificate with the OFFICIAL Hawaii SEAL that you attach to your application form differs in even one detail from the Hawaii short form you displayed on your website, you are in a lot of political and possibly legal trouble.
I still think this is a good idea: I hope that Republican presidential candidates go that extra mile and VOLUNTARILY attach a copy of their long form birth certificate---even if state law doesn't require them to do it---in order to assure the public that they have nothing to hide about their births and that they are who they say they are.
Sincerely,
Mirse
