” Anyone else think its interesting that hes referred to this several times recently (with the requisite Alinsky ridicule, of course), after being silent on the issue for so long? “
I do.
This may also be the first time that Barry himself has actually
spoken the words “ I was born in Hawaii.”
Interesting that he stopped there and didn’t go further and name the hospital.....
Will any in the media ask the obvious follow up question about the specific hospital
since he brought up the subject ?
Some might, but, they won’t get an answer.
His statement was bizarrely blurted out during a discussion of ways that Republicans and Democrats can find common ground.
Most elected Republicans actually give Barry the benefit of the doubt or say they believe him or believe
the state of Hawaii ( actually it was just Chiyome Fukino who said this in one statement and naturally she didn’t provide
any supporting documentation )
so I don’t know why he brought this up in discussing partisan politics.
Must be on his mind a lot.
I would imagine it is. Also, I remember, as his first act, after becoming president, he wrote a letter to one of the hospitals in Hawaii proclaiming it to be his birthplace. So written, but perhaps not spoken before.
Actually, I just finished reading his book "Dreams From My Father" (or as some people call it, "Dreams From Bill Ayers") and he does make that statement in the book. The fact remains, he has not proven it.
