An infuriating spectacle. There is some good news: this bill is likely to be struck down as unconstitutional, and the publicity it has generated such dispel any doubts as to whether the "business community"* has any higher goal than improved profits for next quarter.

*those businesses which are politically connected, that is. Those without friends in high places have to compete in the free market, instead of in the bidding war for laws and lawmakers.

Not only an infuriating spectacle, but a pathetically incomplete article about it. Does not mention the role of State Senator Luz Robles and the fact that she is both an elected official in Utah and an agent of the Mexican government. Nor does it mention the role of the Sutherland Institute, a supposedly "conservative" think tank that pushed this treasonous legislation.

"When (now-Senator) Luz Robles served as Director of the Governor’s Office of Ethnic Affairs she also served in a concurrent role on a committee (the CCIME) that makes recommendations to the President of Mexico regarding citizens living in the U.S. and Canada." ANYONE SHOCKED, SHOCKED THAT SHE IS A DEMOCRAT?

"Sutherland Institute Urges Gov. Herbert to Sign Comprehensive Immigration Bill" NOTE THE NAME OF THIS LEGISLATION! Sutherland is funded in part by the CATO Institute, another open borders libertarian outfit. http://www.sutherlandinstitute.org/article_detail.php?id=3022&type=Press+Releases

The citizens of Utah need to consider that they are embracing invasion and treason.

The next step is to throw Utah out of the Union and declare it in insurrection.

Then strip the state of federal voting rights and appoint a military governor.

This is what happened in the South after the Civil War and it can be repeated.

SALT LAKE CITY — A controversial immigration package approved by Utah lawmakers last week has groups on both sides of the debate threatening to boycott and sue the state.

the guest worker program included in the legislation violates federal law and
the enforcement law also puts illegal immigrants in constant fear of police and makes them reluctant to report workplace accidents or mistreatment by an employer. What criminals do not have constant fear of police and makes them reluctant to report crimes all of them do. This is more wishful thinking, Utah lawmakers cannot pass immigration reform and at the same time Arizona is being sued by Obama for taking on illegal immigration. It cannot be legal there and illegal in Arizona.

Is there ANYONE who can challenge the corrupting influences of the LDS Church in Utah? ANY Republican who can take a stand against them and remain standing?
