I'm impressed that they didn't telegraph their move by floating trial balloons to their enemies in the press.

Usually, the GOP first has someone brag to the press about their tough-guy plans, and then that gives the 'rats time to plan a counter strategy. I've seen it time and time again.

You are so right about that. This was a stunner. I am impressed and I was thoroughly fed up with the Repubs’ milquetoast response to the Dems’ shenanigans.
