My, how Georgias political winds shift.
By last Wednesday, 93 state House members had signed on as co-sponsors to Rep. Mark Hatfields so-called "birther" bill, which would make presidential and vice presidential candidates prove their citizenship to make the states ballot.

Politifact is a far-left operation that has lied about the basics of the controversy, and is fully complicit in the coverup.
On top of that, they are rude.
At least in this article they admit that there is a quesiton whether, even if born in Hawaii, he is a "natural born citizen". They, of course, come down on the side that anything additional requirement to be an NBC besides "born on US soil" is outside the meaning of the Constituiton, but the article admits that it's never been tested in by the SCOTUS.

“I’d like to buy a vowel...”
My question is simple. If nothing is wrong, why hide as much of your past as possible? Why pay lawyers over $1 million to fight any lawsuit demanding to see the BC? BTW, where did the money come from to pay the lawyers? Govt.(taxpayer) funds? Campaign funds? Would it be illegal to use campaign or taxpayer funds for this purpose?
I really doubt the efficiency of putting this on the ballot, although I do believe that the movement should go forward.
In any of these States, hussein has a snowball’s chance in heck of winning anyway & in the states that will vote for him these measures will not get any traction at all.
The AJC Op-Ed article PolitiFact refers to.

If Georgia wants to add additional requirements for its electors I see nothing illegal with that.
Let us not forget that original and still in principle, States can cast their electors for whomever they want on what ever grounds they want.
I have the same questions. If it is illegal for John Edwards to use campaign funds to hide a mistress, isn’t it also illegal to use campaign funds to block access to information that should be readily available to the public (if it exists)?
About as great as a rat fart.

So I'm wondering why Obama never played Little League in Hawaii, and we don't have any pictures of little Obama in one of those cute Little League uniforms.
Could this be the reason: Little Obama rushes home and tells his mother and his grandparents that all his friends are signing up for Little League in Hawaii and he would like to sign up.
But he tells them that he needs an OFFICIAL Hawaii birth certificate, particularly one with the doctor and hospital name on it according to what the Little League officials told him.
I guess you already know where I'm headed: Grandma and grandpa Dunham and Obama's mother sadly tell little Obama that they misplaced or lost his long form birth certificate, so little Obama can't go out for Little League.
I can imagine the severe look of disappointment and confusion on little Obama's face, because he probably doesn't understand how or why his family misplaced his very important birth certificate that he needed to sign up to play Little League with his friends, especially when he he knew that he could be a pretty good Little League player.
My point is this: Presidential candidates should be required to provide an official birth certificate with the state's seal, or how else are we to know that the candidate was born in the United States and that he meets the age requirements? Are we simply expected to take his word that he meets the requirements to be president as outlined in the Constitution?
Just a thought: I would like to see Republican presidential candidates take that extra, courageous step and VOLUNTARILY attach a copy of their long form birth certificate to show the public that they have nothing to hide.
Maybe if several or all Republican presidential candidates VOLUNTARILY attach a copy of their long form birth certificate to their presidential application forms, they will put a lot of public pressure on Obama to do the same.
So I hope that some or all of the Republican presidential candidates take the high road and VOLUNTARILY attach their long form birth certificates to their presidential application form in order to prove to us that they have nothing to hide and that they are who they say they are.

"Its trying to add an additional requirement to the eligibility for president," von Spakovsky said.
Wrong Sparky. Having duel allegiances which is having a duel-citizenship is not part of being a natural born citizen. Being a natural born is part of the US Constitution in Article 2.
Collins is right. HB 401 does create eligibility requirements that arent in the Constitution. We rule his claim True.
LOL.
Obots have infiltrated The Heritage Foundation!!
Another solid conservative organization in need of trashing...alert the flying monkeys.
SCOTUS has weighed in by refusing to hear the case for the second time. They are in 0’S bag so this dude must assuredly be block from further destruction - if there is more we can survive.
