The man should never have hit the 14 year old. That is never appropriate. That he was arrested and lost his skiing privileges should be expected.

But...The girl **was** skiing in an out of control manner.

She **did** state that she needed to swerve to miss another skier. Sorry, but one should always give others in front and to the side, *** plenty*** of room, and be skiing slowly enough that in the event that something unexpected happens, one can avoid a collision and/or stop.

I hope she doesn't come to Deer Valley this week, while I'm there.
