If I had bumped into a 4 yr old kid next to their parents causing them to fall, I would expect them to become very defensive if not offensive to protect their kid.
There are some geographic locations where one might reasonably fear that kind of behavior. I don’t think that’s the standard behavior in civilized areas.
I’m glad I don’t live in your world. I’ve bumped into kids in the grocery store. Maybe the mom should have just shot me dead as I tried to make sure the child was ok.
