See my post to Baynative, I'm sure I'll get slammed for my opinion but I really like Garrison Keilor. I'm as against government funding of a media corporation as anyone else. However, I think that A Prairie Home Companion would easily stand on it's own. If he didn't sell his soul to NPR, there would be many radio stations in many markets that would scoop up his syndicated broadcasts.

Well, it’s a matter of taste, what entertainment we each like. We just don’t share the same taste in whatever Keilor is supposed to be (a comedian?).

Anyway, it’s not important who you like or who I like, but, as you say, there should be no government funding of entertainment.
