Ridiculous.

A couple comments, two by an individual I don't follow, but have noticed (with slight curiosity) many others here poke fun at, and one by a poster ("grand wazoo") who's "account has been banned or suspended." The links you provide are to threads that, taken in their entirety, tend to undermine your claim. One of the links you give is not even to an FR thread, but to an article on Politico.com; that article contains no reference to Free Republic, at least that I can find.

This is your evidence of "A lot of that same sentiment run[ning] rampant in the GOP in general, and on FR in particular, here and now" ?

I don't know how others feel, but it seems a bit less than convincing.

It does leave this question though: if FR and the GOP are running rampant with anti-women sentiment, why are you here? Why waste your time with such a repellent collection of people? Seems a bit odd. I can think of any number of left-wing websites who's moderators will instantly delete even the slightest hint of such sentiment, and in addition instanly ban for life the person posting them.

Tom, I've been posting Palin threads for over two years now, and have seen literally thousands of Palin-related posts. I could care less if you are convinced or not, but the truth is, there is indeed an undercurrent against strong women in politics on this board, so much so that it has become a running joke among Palin supporters as we see it almost on a daily basis.

The "Stop Sarah" piece points directly at the general feeling within the GOP good ol' boys club that a woman has no business running for the GOP nomination, much less the Presidency, which Santorum pretty much blurted out at CPAC. You can ignore it if you wish, but it is there, and it will destroy the GOP if they don't get their heads out of their arses.

I post here to fight the good fight for Palin and the U.S. military. I've seen too many posts from certain people (invariably PDS'ers) over these past two years saying that "women have no business in politics," that "they should stay home and take care of their kids," and that "they want a man as President and NOT a woman." Like a previous poster said, do a keyword search for 19th Amendment, and you will see it plain as day. And, as I said before, just check in with the Palin threads each day, and you'll see it there too.
