Why? (The article doesn't say). The entire community should be unanimous in their revulsion of this evil act, and should want to see the perps prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. So where's the division?
Why? (The article doesn't say)
With up to 28 being charged for raping an 11-year old girl, there are likely a lot of the suspects family members and and friends of the suspect defending them..
They're going down hard and I don't know how anyone could defend this savage brutal crime.
What they don't "say" is that the perps are black and the girl was white. If that doesent "divide", I don't know what does.
According to this story from yesterday, the perps include star athletes, the son of a school board member, etc. I’d almost guarantee you they are worried about the girl ruining the lives of their “boys.” (Except for the ones who already have criminal records including drug sales, aggravated robbery and manslaughter.)

The community is “divided” because of a petition to recall 3 city council members (all are black).
From what I understand, the girl that was raped is hispanic. She may not be totally blameless in all this, but certainly didn’t deserve to be gang raped.
