Gov. Deval Patrick is absolutely right: Dont blame Cleve Killingsworth for your insurance premiums going up so high, so fast. Blame the man whos truly responsible Deval Patrick.
Killingsworth is the Miami Heat of Massachusetts health care. Its hard to believe someone that expensive could suck that bad. But as offensive as Killingsworths $11 million buyout may be, AFL-CIO president and Blue Cross Blue Shield board member Robert Haynes had it right: With $13 billion in revenue, its like pennies, he said of the boards compensation. Complaining about Killingsworths incompetence is like complaining about a leaky bathtub on the Titanic.
Besides, Patricks never going to throw his friend under the bus. During Patricks first campaign, Killingsworth was a leader of his business cabinet. After he won, Patrick picked Killingsworth for his Health Care Transition team.
So excuse me if Im not reaching for a pitchfork over Patricks rich health care executive hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is cheap. Its Patricks health care policy thats so expensive. When is someone going to notice that Massachusetts government-run health care system is a (not so) slow-moving train wreck?

The Massachusetts Republican Party died last Tuesday.
The cause of death: failed leadership.
The party is survived by a few leftover legislators
and a handful of county officials and grassroots activists
who have been ignored for years.
Services will be public and a mass exodus of taxpayers will follow.
In lieu of flowers, send messages to Republican voters
warning them about a certain presidential candidate named Romney.
- Boston Herald, 11/12/2006
"In 2006, while Romney was chairman of the National Republican
Governors Association - a group dedicated to electing more
Republican governors - his own hand-picked Republican successor
as governor lost badly to the Democrat, despite the fact that Republicans
have held the governorship in Massachusetts since 1990. Romney largely
ignored the Massachusetts elections and spent most of the time
during the campaign out of state building his presidential campaign.
He came back and publicly campaigned for the Republican candidate
the day before the general election!
Locally, this is a rebuke to Mitt Romney and checking out within six months
after being elected and having accomplished almost nothing,
[Jim] Rappaport [former chairman of the state Republican Party]."

Great article.....I am still amazed that national Republicans are not using RomneyCare train wreck to savage ObamaCare. The American people are just too stupid to grasp what is going on in this country. You would think the internet would have made our populace more well informed, but it seems to be the opposite.
Perhaps it is because of Romney and the SOROS wing he
runs in the GOP. SOROS also runs the DNC,
so why would the MSM ever cover the truth?
How much more informed do we need to be concerning this steaming pile of dog ____ to know that it's still ____.
