I do not understand why this stunt does not violate decency laws. Can someone explain why a public sex act does not violate decency laws.

Probably for the same reason life drawing classes with nude models doesn’t.

This stunt does violate various decency laws, and ordinances on nudity, adult entertainment, stripping,etc. Because this happened at an elite university, nobody is going to call them on that.
