Gov. Quinn and the Illinois Dems have been angry at Gov. Walker ever since he started advertising in Illinois for businesses to come to Wisconsin which was more business-friendly, just as Christie has done. Right after Quinn raised state income taxes 67%.

I don’t know. So far the news from Wisconsin has been weeks of gonna, gonna, gonna. Is this another ‘gonna’, or is it actually going to be done?

To those of us to think this is the time for our side to "go wobbly" in WI, or that they will "go wobbly," I want to ask you this (rhetorical) question:

Do you really think that the Wisconsin Democrats are acting the way one would expect them to act if they thought they were in the strong position?

Forget about the supposed "poll results." Forget about the pundits. And, it goes without saying, forget about the MSM and the Democrats themselves. Just look at their actions, not their words.

Are they really acting like they think they are going to win this?

When the other side starts handing out suicide belts to their soldiers, do you conclude "oh, they must be winning the war?"

Come on. See reality, WI Republicans. Don't believe the alternate reality the MSM and the Democrats (and their pollsters) are trying to sell you.

They tried all these tricks with Reagan, and worse.

Many of the voters who supported democrats have been writing letters and calling the offices of Dem. Senator Miller telling him to get his rearend back to Wisconsin and vote on this bill. Many in Wisconsin are extremely tired of the stalemate and want their democrat senators to return IMMEDIATELY!

They want to make collective bargaining the issue, he makes it the high pay and wages. They want to do a sit in, he releases that they have done over seven million dollars in damage. They want to intimidate GOP reps, he floods the crowd with cameras to catch their bullying. I never want to play poker against Walker. The Dems want to make negotiation a talking point. He dumps the e-mail and changes the talking point to outside influence.

Yeah, he doesn't have many good things to say about Indiana and Governor Daniels either. Don and Roma on WLS call and interview him all the time, he isn't shy about sticking it to Quinn and seducing businesses from Illinois at all.

Good and as a gesture of good faith the democrats need to release all of their communications with the unions while they've been out of the state.

Including promises made to make good any lost wages, legal fees, or extra-consitutional compensation of any time.

Bring it, Gov Walker. I hope this isn’t a bluff. So far, Gov Walker hasn’t made any concessions with the whiny flee baggers, but they’re still awol and none of Gov Walker’s threats have changed that.

I read (in the comments section of a Madison news site) a suggestion that Walker and (Republican) members of the legislature should take paycuts to “prove” that everyone is having to sacrifice - not just the unions.

It was silly in its ultra-narrow focus but it did illustrate one missing part of the conversation: what other changes are necessary for Wisconsin to reorient its priorities and regain its financial health?

I don’t know how Wisconsin operates but I would imagine that the state legislatures, like most other states, vote on their own pay rates (unfortunately). Walker can’t unilaterally change that. What he can change is management of state departments that are appointed. He can jettison “same as it ever was” dhimmicrats and install people who know how to streamline and innovate.

I can’t find fault with Walkers performance so far but he would do well to emulate Chris Christi and do a bunch of media blitz appearances to sell his agenda. This would go a long way towards differentiating himself from the fleebaggers.

I believe that there is a required 30 day notice that must be given before any layoffs can occur. Gov Walker has now given that notice.
