I used to be one of those “We are the world, Kumbaya types” ... UNTIL I HAD CHILDREN!
Then I started realizing, what parts of town do I feel safest in? Where would I feel safer at going on vacation with the wife and kids? Etc and I connected the dots.
I used to be naieve like that too.....now I don’t go anywhere without my Kimber .45 on my hip.

On that same note, I know a lot of guys here talk tough about concealed carry and what they’d do. But that’s not reality. Sicko white liberals in the jury box, plus social justice church goer, plus anarchist, plus diversity candidates would just see you has a racist, capitalist, greedy, imperaliast, freedom fanatic, gun-tooting redneck. They’d throw the book at you. That’s why I don’t want to live around this mess, that’s the only real option you have.
