This isn't my original source, but it's the first one I found.

derkeiler.com

A summary:

More recently, [Abdullah] Sanusi was implicated in an alleged Libyan plot in 2003 to kill then-Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.

An American Muslim leader pleaded guilty last year to illegal business dealings with the Kadafi regime and told a U.S. court that he conspired with Sanusi and other Libyan officials planning the assassination. Libya denied any involvement.

Sanusi is Khadafi's brother-in-law.

More recently, Khadafi went out of his way to insult King Abdullah.

The title of "King of Kings" was reiterated by Gaddafi at the 2009 Arab League Summit, at which he claimed to be the King of Kings, "leader of the Arab leaders" and "imam of the Muslims" in his criticism of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia prior to storming out of the summit.Wikipedia

Thus, I'm pretty certain that the Saudis will do nothing to support Khadafi. Whether they will involve themselves in deposing him is another question.

Abdullah could have had Kadafi killed years ago, though. He wants Kadafi in power, because it stabilizes the market for oil.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer...
