DES MOINES, Iowa – Most Americans haven't heard of Herman Cain, the former head of a chain of pizza restaurants who is considering seeking the Republican presidential nomination. But in Iowa, home to the nation's first presidential caucuses, Cain has caught the attention of conservative activists influenced by the tea party movement who aren't bothered by candidates who have succeeded in business but have never held a public office. "He's creating quite a buzz," said former Iowa Republican Party Chairman Richard Schwarm. "He is someone Iowa caucus-goers are going to take very seriously."

Isn’t Cain the one who utterly punked the CAIR provocateur?

Forget it. Has he ever been elected to public office?

Now's not the time to promote vanity candidates who'll be sure losers against Barry.

I’ll take the owner of a pizza chain over a damned “community organizer” any day of the week and twice on Sunday!

TY - I wasn’t sure. I liked West’s firepower and command of historical facts. That was a superb smack down.

double down on two black conservatives? Its kinda going to extremes here to show the media that the tea partiers are not racist. Its almost an affirmative action selection

"Forget it. Has he ever been elected to public office? "

Yeah, well there are a few freepers that keep acting like that is a BAD thing, but people are quite excited about the idea of a citizen President and the number of supporters Herman has is growing exponentionally.

Herman has sound plans, communicates well, thinks quick on his feet, and has been going toe to toe with liberals every day for a long, long time. I have no doubts concerning his ability to totally destroy Obama in an election.

How's John Cox working out for you?
I don't like career politicians, but I do want someone who's been elected and has a record in public office. That's the traditional path to the WH. There's a reason why rich businessmen fail to win the Senate, much less the White House.

Stop promoting West, Cain, and other vanity candidates just because they're black.

The problem is that when you look at the list of GOP potentials, Cain is the only one who’s a conservative. The rest are just Bush moderates.
