I missed this show. Did it come on right after the last installment of “Black in America” where I was told the reason I own a house is because my family is white and passed their wealth down to me. I found that premise interesting since Mom still lives in her house, I am paying a mortgage on mine, and my brother, who wasn’t first born, is worth more than both of us put together.

I didn't see the show either. I did see a notice recently for a scholarship for a medical school in Texas which was open to anyone except whites. Can you imagine a medical school announcing a scholarship which everyone except African Americans could apply for?

I wonder if when my grandfather became a citizen of the United States, it was explained to him that once he took the oath, he would share the blame for slavery and every oppression suffered by non-whites in America throughout history?
