The last line of the article:
"Among the fastest-growing jobs of the next decade, only two, janitorial work and computer engineering, are expected to be dominated by men."
This has to change. Our older boy is in the State University and the Marine Reserves. He'll be OK> The younger one... I don't know.
What do you think the best job areas are for a non-University-bound, not-particularly-academically-gifted male?

Its a female-only world.
Don’t expect to see affirmative action instituted for the endangered white male in our lifetime.

Too many “men” in this country are too busy making babies out of wedlock and deserting them and committing crimes and in jail to be bothered with going to college.

There just no opportunities for men... its like the country has devalued them by design.

My wife and I have been talking for over ten years now about the “womanification” of the office. I have ALWAYS been mystified at how any man can thrive in the office. I have found it simply impossible. Now I’m in the office with the G, but that doesn’t count.

Because girls develop verbal skills sooner, some schools are experimenting with single-sex classrooms. If I had gone to an all-male school, I would have been a Rhodes Scholar. The legs dammit; the legs. I couldn't focus.

Well, right now the job market stinks for everybody. But overgrown boys posing as men making babies without a job and going to jail for crimes since too lazy to do anything else has been going on long before the economy went down the toilet.

Start a religion - keep women out of the ministry and encourage them to give you lots of money.
