Slightly off topic, from my experience with hospice organizations, the nurses are total heroes, likewise caring for the dying. With the business aspect of hospices, however, the doctors working for them too often serve as their own ‘death panels’, giving knowingly lethal doses of morphine to those who though slowly dying don’t want to be snuffed out in that manner.
