So far only Gingrich and Romney sound like they are in. I will take Romney over Gingrich and Calista.

That's why I used the word prospective when speaking of the candidates.

We cannot let the left pick our candidate again.

Sarah said it a year ago, and she hasnt stopped. Mitt speaks up (at last) when the awful reality of our situation is undeniable.Yup?
Qualification number one when I choose who I will back in the primary is, what has the candidate been doing over the last two years, while our country is being destroyed?
Palin has been out front almost daily. Mitt has been cowering in a hidey hole.

Ahhh.... dont think Romney would be much of a “new” president. He is the closest thing we have to Obama lite.

I am not a huge Romney fan...
however, he is head and shoulders over McCain in my opinion.
Would I prefer Palin or Bachmann? sure, if either actually runs. But my primary focus is ending the zero's reign of terror, and if that means casting a vote in the general election for someone like Romney... then so be it.
Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
Having said all that, I WILL be voting for any REAL conservatives that are on the ballot during the primary.

I agree it ain’t going to be Romney. He is too wishy-washy and doesn’t give straight answers. Too afraid to offend someone.
To: tirednvirginia
We do need a new President.
What we do not need is an unprincipled man who will say whatever he believes people want to hear. Romney talks a good game, but he has a lot to answer for given what he did in Massachusetts.
