In the summer of 2008 as McCain and Obama were in the midst of their campaigns to capture the presidency, a series of events dramatically changed the focus of the campaign from Iraq to the economy. From that point on, Obama took the lead and eventually won the presidency.
Now, a full two years later, the Pentagon has issued a report on the series of events that led to the 2008 economic crash. Bill Gertz writes in the Washington Times:
"Evidence outlined in a Pentagon contractor report suggests that financial subversion carried out by unknown parties, such as terrorists or hostile nations, contributed to the 2008 economic crash by covertly using vulnerabilities in the U.S. financial system
"'There is sufficient justification to question whether outside forces triggered, capitalized upon or magnified the economic difficulties of 2008,' the report says."
Notable for its absence is any suggestion that the economic events that arguably catapulted Obama into the White House may have originated in our own political system.
Consider: The economic house of cards started tumbling on June 26, 2008, when Senator Chuck Schumer leaked a memo questioning the solvency of IndyMac bank. This memo precipitated a run on IndyMac which led to its failure. Federal regulators pointedly cited U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., in explaining the bank's failure. "The immediate cause of the closing was a deposit run that began and continued after the public release of a June 26 letter to the OTS and the FDIC from Senator Charles Schumer of New York."
As I wrote in February of 2009, this event, coupled with the Lehman Brothers collapse in September, marked the beginning of the current economic meltdown and provided the environment that enabled Barack Obama to focus on the economy instead of his position on Iraq - and...

GEORGE??? Is that you George?
I believe it was a deliberate act. I read at the time, that on the anniversary of 9/11 within a two hour period someone removed billions of dollars from our stock market. It was not reported appropriately. I believe it led to the election of Obama and was done to accomplish that purpose. If it was done by Americans, it was an orchestrated act of treason (a conspiracy if you will). If it was done by foreigners, it was designed to put “their man” in office. Either way - it was an act of either treason or war - and it was ignored for whatever reason that we do not yet know.
This endless recession certainly appears to be. It’s either by design or by really incredibly almost impossibly bad luck that every policy that comes out of Washington is plainly destructive to free enterprise and human dignity.
btt
They certainly are destructive and, even if the media thinks they are the result of simple incompetence, the media are guilty of the “soft bigotry of low expectations” by not calling down the Halfrican’s regime for making a total wreck of our economy.
How many empty boxes of foil wrap do you have.
If Bush had manned up and took the Dims to task over the airwaves with what they were doing via Freddie and Fanny, along with other financial land mines, they would have had to be on record as saying they had it under control and it would be obvious to even a bunch of lefities that the Dims are the biggest source of the problems we suffer today.

We, the taxpayers, are just pawns in a grander scheme! Very scarey considering there is nothing we can do about it! Most people won’t believe any of this.
Ain’t nobody never had no luck nowheres near dat bad.
It was financial Jihad.
Not only was it orchestrated by the DemonRATs, it was done with the conviction that human life is expendable for the purposes of power. The architects of this economic homicide knew they would be long gone before anyone dug out the evidence of their crime. At this time it remains a cold case.
Soros but he wasn’t alone. He had co conspirators
Yeah except I think the media is owned by the jihad.

Yes, and it started almost 100 years ago with the establishment of the FED.
