The reality:
Less coverage, higher costs, lower quality.
And who is surprised? The Left. Again. This is all so unexpected.
This is a surprise, why?

I'm reading a great book right now -- "The Myth of the Robber Barons." Turns out that federal subsidies in the 1840s of the then-new steamship line companies led to exactly the same results! Some things never change.
People who believe that the government is going to "bend the cost curve" always fail to understand that it is indeed going to be bent -- UPWARD. It just goes to show the poor state of education in the country when people put their faith in government.
Functional people that can pay for medical care should not be forced to be in the same system as folks who will not or cannot pay.
Thanks for mentioning that book. I hadn’t heard of it, but I looked it up and it sounds interesting. It’s on my list of books to read now.
They knew he was all gold chains no gold teeth with diamonds in them..
I wouldn't bet on it.
Then what is the good of Communism! If they can't take from you, steal everything you have, threaten you with arrest, intimidate you, drive down all services into the mud and muck, ruin everything, and then "give" away your wealth to the "masses" after they put a pretty bow on it while claiming it was "their generosity" - then where is the fun in that?
maybe some but how do they justify raising the cost of generic medicine that was 18.00 for 90 days to 55.00 for 90 days? BS, they found another way to suck you a little dryer.
Thanks to all the ignorant, non-thinkers who voted for any of the DIMocRATs who brought us the anti-American nobamacare BS. Thanks a lot.
I just started it and really like the first 20 pages. I just read another book by the same author (Burton Folsom), “New Deal or Raw Deal,” and really enjoyed it. It is a real eye-opener about FDR and his policies during the depression and how he greatly prolonged it. He’s an excellent author, very clear and concise writing and organization.
Those increases are not the result of any one year increase in the underlying cost of delivering services. This entire Obamacare fiasco has created so much uncertainty that companies are trying to increase their rates to meet whatever worst case scenarios they might envision.
The insurance and drug companies at various times during the debate over Obamacare made deals with Obama and fought against his proposals at other times. This entire thing is a fiasco that needs to be repealed or weakened to the extent that it can't be made operational.
