Newt Gingrich moved toward launching his first presidential campaign with all the grace of a suitcase falling down a flight of stairs.
It all began with conflicting signals from aides about what Gingrich actually would be announcing Thursday in Atlanta (correct answer: A website called "NewtExplore2012"). Then, in an odd one-question press conference, Gingrich proposed a Tenth Amendment Implementation Act (a vague project to return federal responsibilities to the states) while he simultaneously unveiled the exploratory White House candidacy. Finally, there was the embarrassing glitch when a liberal group pointed out that the flag-waving crowds in the background on the new Gingrich website were from a stock photo also used by Ted Kennedy with the logo: "We are the Democratic Majority."

Clowns like, will all due respect, Brother Gingie, must know they have no chances at the nomination much less at the erection. Why do they run, then? They run to maintain their relevance and the sky high salaries from the media networks and from the Washington “institutes”.
He got punked by Clinton in the "government shutdown" (where Clinton shut down the federal government, or parts of it, and the public thought it was all Gingrich's fault).

well the media hate Gingrich worse than Republicans. The only angle I think of that would interest the media is the newsworthy angle since Gingrich brought in the 1994 revolution and was a speaker of the house.
There is something in his face and pasted on smile that makes me go BLLLAAAAGGGG, with a slight shiver. I wouldn’t even take a class of his if he were teaching. Don’t know what it is but cannot stand to look at him. Phony as a 3 dollar bill. Christy may be a good governor, not so good as president. Too much ego. I think too many people jump on a bandwagon based on only 1 or 2 things that sound good. I cannot help but wonder how Christy would be without having to balance the budget...
Here’s just one of the reasons Gingrich turns my stomach: He’s a slimy hypocrite who makes John Edwards look like “Husband of the Millennium.”
Gingrich served divorce papers to his wife #1, the former Jackie Battley, while she was literally hooked to an IV getting chemotherapy at a cancer hospital.
Stud-muffin Gingrich had found a mistress, Marianne Ginther, who became wife #2. If that wasn’t bad enough, while Jackie was away battling cancer, he brought Marianne to the home he shared with Jackie and their two daughters and had frequent sexual relations with her in their marital bed.
To add insult to injury, Gingrich savagely fought Jackie, to punish her for not signing the divorce papers while she was hooked up to the chemo IV. Jackie had to take him to court to get him to contribute toward bills because utilities were about to be cut off at the family home. She had to ask the State of Georgia for help with utilities and housing while receiving cancer therapy!
Just so happens that Gingrich’s adulterous and cunning affair took place while he was trying to have Bill Clinton impeached for trysting with Monica Lewinsky.
Then dog-in-heat Gingrich cheated on his mistress #1/wife #2, Marianne, with Callista Bisek, mistress #2/wife #3, a House of Representatives staffer, who is 23 years his junior.
He left Marianne after she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and while she was visiting her mother.
Like his first sneaky affair, Gingrich had sexual relations with mistress #2/wife #3, Callista, his current wife, in the marital bed he shared with Marianne.
Why did Gingrich dump Marianne? He told her he wanted a “Jaguar,” and she was just a “Chevrolet.”
Now Gingrich and Callista host religious movies, which they sell on their web site.
Gingrich is a sleazy, anti-family, anti-woman politician, utterly lacking in personal morality, capable of making outrageous statements and committing acts of hypocrisy. In addition, no amount of religious documentaries or quick talking lines will change that.
Go ahead, GOP, run him for President. Other than (possibly) his current wife, there isn’t a woman in America who would vote for him. And few men.
Gingrich makes me feel the same, exact way...NAUSEATED.
And I get the same, exact feeling when I look at Dick Morris.
When it comes to Dick Morris I cann’t even read anything he writes without getting nauseated...so I don’t read his crapp
My point is that the media want us to nominate a candidate who can’t beat Obama. It worked with McCain. They’ll pimp any RINO that we hate, but who appeals to “moderates.”
I find it hard to believe that he could find ANYONE to take to bed. Some women are just plain brain dead. He has a knack for finding them..
Both Gingrich and Morris turned Catholic...Gingrich after his marriage to the whore Callista, and Morris after his wife found out about him sucking a whore’s toes.

As I understand it, Newt and his wife were working on the divorce for some time. It was unfortunate that the papers were drawn up when she was bedridden.
Newt is a “brilliant man” you say? Good God...
I understand your point and it is valid. You could be right but I see some distinctions worth pointing out in this case.
First of all Newt is not a RINO. He is a conservative who is wrong on some issues like global warming and has a few loose wires. So a one-dimensional label doesn’t fit him. He did a great job in 1994 and can still be of service to us in some capacity. His candidancy is going nowhere so I am not worried about him as he belongs nowhere near the WH. But what troubles me is whether this is a signal Palin won’t be running. He always said he would run if no one else steps up. Did he call Palin? If she doesn’t run I think we have a BIG problem.
I don’t think the media would support Romney because they think that will help us lose. Romney is not a stumbling embarrasing conservative they can make fun of. He is only second to Slick Willie in the BS department. He could probably sell me a car he is that good. He is a blow-dried RINO who could convince a lot of people who don’t follow this stuff and win if nominated. Media people love people who can BS because that’s all they do. So I don’t see them supporting him because they think he will lose.
Once we get through the initial primaries conservatives better get their act together and rally around someone and stop Romney. That is mission one. Mitt (and maybe the RNC establishment) thinks it’s his turn.
