What democrats are NOT WILLING to accept is the way to go..

Who do we have negotiating for "US"... POLLY-ANNA?.. Dorothy and ToTo?.. Neville Chamberlain?..

"We" have overwhelming numbers in the House of Reps.. Jeeze..
The Unions are jumping the shark like scared mackerals..
I say bleed every last sound bite out of them..

Time to throw down the gauntlet. Pick one department and completely defund it. I suggest the Department of Labor would be a good place to start. The 2011 continuing resolution for the department totals $148.5 billion. Assuming half of the budget has already been spent, we can save $70 billion or more by killing the department next year. Other irrelevant departments deserving similar treatment include: Commerce, Agriculture, Education, HUD, Energy, and much of HHS.

The Republicans should be going after spending the same way Obama, Pelosi and Reid went after health care last year. Aim big and damn the torpedos.
