In our rural area in NE WIS, there are 8 teachers that have signed up for this 'program'. All retiring and all younger than I am - younger than 54.
What a scam.

In my area of Wisconsin...ALL of the teachers received notice of possible layoff (first step). Most likely 20% will actually be laid off

My brother living in Omaha NE. is a recently retired High School Science teacher makes 150.00 a day as a substitute teacher as does his wife (Elementary teacher). They seem to work enough to pay for the health ins. When they retired they had to pay 800.00 a month for their health ins. Not all NEA groups have it as good as the Wisconsin NEA’s
