I don’t think it’s funny, either, but the question was if the site is satirical or not.

I took it seriously at first, which is why I did more research, and frankly they lost me with the whole burkha on the statue thingy, and taking “rigorous safety measures” before demolition; that seems more late-night humor than anything else.

Who knows — it may be serious, and we’ll just have to keep an eye on it. I believe there’s a serious movement to implement Islamic law worldwide, but this site feels like satire to me.

If it IS, ask yourself this - who or what kind of person sets this kind of site up as “satire”, and why? I mean, where are they coming from in terms of their feelings about this country, to find such a thing humorous.

Learning who’s behind the site, regardless, bears further investigation and exposure.
