Does National Geo continue their liberal worldview with this program?

There is no “worldview.” It’s simply a documentary about the guys along the Afghan-Pakistan border. Junger wrote a book, “War” which is true to the documentary. A very good read.

For me I did not see any of that. I only saw the final hour. I was VERY surprised to see that from NGeo. Then that is just me. I also quit for the most part watching those channels for that reason. Mrcoldone does watch, that is why i watched it to begin with.

The movie is political if you watch closely. You see the failure to earn the trust of and assistance of locals, in part due to past mistakes. And the movie ends with the note that after the blood sweat and tears, we retreated.
