I too bounce around the world's news sites - there's a lot more there than our Maggot Stream Media deigns to provide.

Also guess I'm lucky not having been hit by any web bugs for the past year. I use Firefox, with AdBlock Plus and NoScript add-ons, plus running Ad-Aware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

For newspapers and periodicals, try refdesk.com - haven't found a dead link yet, nor one missing.

I’ve had my computer almost 2 yrs. now and have yet to get a bug or virus. Am using Nortons best and seems to handle it all.

Tonight I learned about Chavas’s purposal with regards to Gaddafi and to my knowlegs none of our media is reporting this. Maybe later...of course later!
