From the article:
Tip: don't be afraid of the recoil--understand and manage it.
Part of managing recoil is making sure your pistol fits your hand. Replacing factory "grips" with aftermarket gear can make the difference between an unmanageable beast and a pussycat. For example, I replaced the bulky wood grips on my S&W 629 (which I simply could not control) with slim rubber Pachmayr grips. Same loads, otherwise same revolver ... now easily controlled and fun to shoot.
I worked on a Kibbutz 40 years ago and was recently in Israel and had a friend over here last week. If you listen to the Israelis you would think they invented shooting, the F-15, Abrams M1, the AK-47, the AR15, holo sights, Red Dot sights, etc. and etc.
Mainly, like the Japanese, they take and existing platform and “improve”/specialize it for desert use.
It reminds me of the Russians during the cold war when they said they were the first to invent everything. Now this guy is going to claim you stole his idea 20 years before he invented.
