With the target for a budget deal nine days away, Senate GOP leader Bob Dutton confirmed Tuesday that some of his members are now talking to Gov. Jerry Brown.
But don't get excited. Dutton, who says he asks members of his caucus to tell him when they meet with Brown, maintained that the hush-hush discussions are "not about tax extensions."
All 15 of his caucus members, Dutton said, should still be considered "no" votes on Brown's proposal to put tax hike extensions on the ballot. . . .

Why would they talk to three time loser Brown he has a one track mind tax it is all he knows.
What a glorious waste of time any meeting with Jerry Brown would be.
He’s a master of evasion. A master of word parsement. A master of illusion, and a master liar.
I’d bet one could sit in on such a meeting, and later when Jerry Brown is in front of the podium advising the California people, the press the results of the meeting the participants would be very surprised at what they apparently accomplished rather than the nothing they were absolutely certain that was in fact accomplished.
