Building Access Reminder: Visitors wishing to enter the Capitol will only be allowed to enter through the King Street entrance. Visitors without appointments may need to wait in line until visitors already inside the building leave the Capitol to make room for new visitors. These procedures have been in effect at the Capitol since this morning. --Capitol Police

A hearing on the temporary injunction issued by a Madison judge this morning is coming up in 15 minutes. The rules now in place seem to be in compliance with the law and provide reasonable access to the public. We shall see what the judge says shortly.
It may be symbolic that the Wisconsin Capitol, which is styled after the US Capitol, is ground zero for the ongoing battle to limit the power of big government.

That’s DUI Peggy from a few years back representing the unions. Sure hope the hearing gets done before “double-bubble.”

I remember it well - she refused the BAC but measured .12 and yet clained she only had ‘two glasses of wine’...neglecting to mention they were the half-liter slurpy glasses ;-) She also got in trouble for misusing a state car and then became the first incumbent Wisconsin Attorney General to lose a primary in 58 years
Bob...everything would of been fine if they hadn’t “moved” that snow bank out onto HWY 151 that Peggy hit!
I’ll be driving down that road in about an hour. Poor wife is trapped in Madison on work and she’s very depressed about the hotel as it’s HQ for AFL-CIO big shots. By the way they’re not sleeping on marbel floors. I’ll take her out to dinner tonight and cheer her up.
