It was observed on another thread that its somehow strange that we find it unacceptable to drink human milk, when we have no problem at all with drinking basically the same thing from a different species. Its curious. Its still creepy, but its an interesting observation nonetheless. Here's my observation. I have no problem eating beef (meat from another species), and I sure don't want to eat humans.

Beef, swine, fish, and poultry are favorites. Cannibalism is something I pray I never experience. Though I do remember an experience in a mine once ... in a song, when Joe was looking at Timothy.

Here's my observation. I have no problem eating beef (meat from another species), and I sure don't want to eat humans. True, but the difference is that in mammals the milk is produced specifically for the purpose of consumption by the young of the same species.
