It was observed on another thread that it’s somehow strange that we find it unacceptable to drink human milk, when we have no problem at all with drinking basically the same thing from a different species. It’s curious.
It’s still creepy, but it’s an interesting observation nonetheless.

My cousin’s husband lived in the Andes for a while and they would buy cheese from the local ladies.
One day they realized — there were no cows, no sheep, no goats, no llamas... So where did the milk some from?
Suddenly it dawned on them.
Needless to say, they didn’t buy cheese after that.
